Raised in an entrepreneurial family, Craig has had a competitive and ambitious attitude from childhood. Through various roles in the family businesses, he honed in on attributes and skills that have translated seamlessly into real estate. Craig’s love for real estate began shortly after his honeymoon. In the middle of the night, he and his wife were woken up to a fire in their 2 flat greystone apartment. Right before their eyes, all of their possessions were either burned or damaged. Countless nights were spent researching how a young couple just getting started in their careers could qualify for a mortgage, and the home search was on. From that time, he never stopped looking for great real estate investments. Fast forward to today, and Craig’s family has bought and sold primary, investment, vacation, and rehab properties. Through luxury home purchasing and renovations, he became a student of the high end materials, and the construction nuances that separate cosmetic to true high end finishes. He also loves to share how he and his family have used real estate as a wealth builder, and can uniquely relate to any buyer, from a first time homebuyer, a luxury home buyer, or an investor.
Today, Craig and his wife live in Wilson County with their two daughters on a mini farm, and enjoy hiking across middle TN exploring the many trails and waterfalls. With this connection to nature, they enjoy learning and implementing sustainable practices into daily life. The balance and beauty between man and nature is a lifelong pursuit for the Cowan family.
